After having played for 29 minutes, Serafin Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Gitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Hibai in the 38th minute of play forced Curitas FC's goalkeeper Vicente Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Gitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Iratzeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Fernandez got free with Arnoldo Ermengol in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bonifacio Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Iratzeder having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Curitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Ixidor came free, but Vicente Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulises Burni during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored Curitas FC's protests and gave Benito Rioja a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Benito Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Rami didn't quite understand what happened when in the 99 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The LITTLE HORSE F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Curitas FC to win.
