In the 10th match minute, Vencedores Vencidos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Odilon to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Raymundo having to interfere. In the 17th minute Arsenio Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Curitas FC booed when Vencedores Vencidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Arsenio Bixintxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curitas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Serafin Gitano struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Leandro Raymundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curitas FC. In the 24th minute, Daniel Arixo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Iratzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Matias Fernandez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vicente Iratzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Arixo in the 30th minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curitas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Saverio Serapio was slow to take the kick. During this time Vencedores Vencidos FC's players had a chance to rest. Saverio Serapio made a great header on Vencedores Vencidos FC's corner, it was just that Curitas FC's Vicente Iratzeder managed to reach the ball for a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Venancio Chinto was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Raymundo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Serafin Gitano sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Alvaro Cheche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Benito Rioja in the 65th minute really tested Leandro Raymundo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Leandro Raymundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Bixintxo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Curitas FC's Arsenio Bixintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Daniel Arixo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Vencedores Vencidos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Arixo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Arixo in the 82nd minute of play forced Curitas FC's goalkeeper Vicente Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Raymundo having to interfere. Curitas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
