Edgard Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Basilio Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Club Atlético Comercial were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Estefan made a kick off. Clodoveo Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Ciano having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ivan Diagur took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Lázaro Ciano to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Bragado For Ever's zone, Benigno Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Ciano came out of the goal and Benigno Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benigno Breogan struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Lázaro Ciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Comercial. 69 minutes into the match, Bragado For Ever's goalkeeper Lázaro Ciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Breogan. A collision led to Club Atlético Comercial getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ivan Diagur hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Comercial defense, Edgard Guzman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Meder. The Club Atlético Comercial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Meder should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Atlético Comercial eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
