After a rather tough play, Alvarado FC's Melchor Quentin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 22 played minutes, Cococho FBC's Edgardo Oro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Quinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cococho FBC reached it. Teodoro Urtun struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ismael Quinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cococho FBC. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarado FC's zone, Manuel Garikoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Quinto came out of the goal and Manuel Garikoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cococho FBC booed when Alvarado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarado FC's zone, Teodoro Urtun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Quinto came out of the goal and Teodoro Urtun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Urtun in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Quinto saved Alvarado FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarado FC's zone, Teodoro Urtun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Quinto came out of the goal and Teodoro Urtun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Quinto having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Teodoro Urtun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Quinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Alvarado FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cococho FBC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anacleto Lope to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Leizarraga charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Leizarraga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Alvarado FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Leizarraga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Lope in the 57th minute of play forced Cococho FBC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Leizarraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Anacleto Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teodoro Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ismael Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Lope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teobaldo Silvanito having to make a save. Manuel Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Alvarado FC's Ismael Quinto got control of the ball when Teodoro Urtun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cococho FBC's Manuel Garikoitz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Quinto. That made the score 0-2 after 91 minutes of play. 98 minutes into the match, Alvarado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Garikoitz came free, but Ismael Quinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cococho FBC played a much better game than Alvarado FC and deserved their victory. The Alvarado FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
