Teobaldo Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Explosivos FC. Leandro Clodio took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Merexildo. Teobaldo Merexildo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Aguadita's zone, Leandro Clodio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Merexildo came out of the goal and Leandro Clodio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Merexildo having to interfere. Leandro Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Teobaldo Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Moises Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Explosivos FC's attentive Maximino Ipar managed to snatch the ball when Fernan Emesto made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Leandro Clodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Merexildo having to interfere. Leandro Clodio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Merexildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Leandro Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the game, Justino Bernal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguadita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Explosivos FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes Aguadita got a freekick which was hit by Justino Bernal. The supporters of Aguadita booed when Explosivos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Everardo Gonsalvo made the kick off in the second half. Leandro Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Teobaldo Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Leandro Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Explosivos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Moises Remigio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Leandro Clodio took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Teobaldo Merexildo to make any attempt to save it. Leandro Clodio scored 0-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teobaldo Merexildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Donato Raphael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Explosivos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguadita the free kick. A collision led to Explosivos FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Donato Raphael hit a great ball. In the 83rd match minute, Aguadita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Emesto made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Explosivos FC's Maximino Ipar. Explosivos FC's Gerardo Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Pedroso in the 97th minute of play. Explosivos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
