Everardo Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Carmelo Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Everardo Olentzaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everardo Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Carmelo Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Basajaun in the 18th minute of the match. The Cachilo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Santo should have stopped the shot. If Eulalio Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 33 minutes into the game, Cachilo FC's Arnoldo Corderall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Salbatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Escalares AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Cilio to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Corderall came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jaime Salbatore could save by the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute, Ciro Urtun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Santo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Basajaun in the 56th minute. Everardo Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Santo having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cachilo FC! Eleuterio Elazar shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Arias during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cachilo FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Angelino Arias hit a great ball. Everardo Olentzaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmelo Santo having to make a save. When Eulalio Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Escalares AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Basajaun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Olentzaro in the 79th minute of play forced Cachilo FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cachilo FC's Carmelo Santo got control of the ball when Eulalio Basajaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Everardo Olentzaro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carmelo Santo. The goal made the score 1-2. Eulalio Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Nahia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Everardo Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Arnoldo Corderall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachilo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Corderall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Salbatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Escalares AC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Corderall came free, but Jaime Salbatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Santo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Eulalio Basajaun sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Olentzaro in the 99th minute of play.
