Teobaldo Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Gerardo Txordon sent off a good shot on target. When Pedro Ayala fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's protests and gave Pedro Ayala a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Santiago Beturian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguadita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Beturian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everardo Gonsalvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Merexildo having to interfere. Pedro Ayala got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Aguadita booed when SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Aguadita's Anibal Chabier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Beturian in the 34th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's goalkeeper Lucas Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Merexildo having to interfere. A collision led to SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Angel Ciceron hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Denis Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Gonsalvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Gonsalvo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Angel Ciceron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguadita the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Angel Ciceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Santiago Beturian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Ramos. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Beturian got free with Lucas Ramos in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Merexildo having to interfere. SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's Lucas Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Gonsalvo in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's goalkeeper Lucas Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Beturian. The audience was convinced that Everardo Gonsalvo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Ramos was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Gonsalvo in the 81st minute of play forced SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's goalkeeper Lucas Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Beturian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Lucas Ramos made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Aguadita eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
