Pedro Ayala was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 13th minute, Pedro Ayala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Faustino Munio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's Lucas Ramos didn't even have to move. In the 16th minute Generoso Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Romildo came free, but Lucas Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Txordon in the 24th minute of play forced Cachilo FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Cachilo FC got a corner. SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faustino Munio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Cachilo FC's Cleto Jusepe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Urbano Joanes put in a rough tackle. 65 minutes into the game, one of SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rigoberto Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Ramos having to interfere. Cachilo FC's Arnoldo Corderall got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Corderall, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's Lucas Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Romildo in the 82nd minute of play. When Generoso Nahia fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachilo FC's protests and gave Generoso Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. Generoso Nahia hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Romildo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucas Ramos having to make a save. If Arnoldo Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Romildo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Ramos. SAN MARTIN DE MENDOZA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rigoberto Romildo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cachilo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
