Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Cachilo FC's Rigoberto Romildo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godofredo Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Aguadita's zone, Rigoberto Romildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Merexildo came out of the goal and Rigoberto Romildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC's Florencio Tabby got a free kick in the 9th minute. Aguadita's Santiago Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Merexildo having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Godofredo Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Gonsalvo might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carmelo Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Gonsalvo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Aguadita booed when Cachilo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 minutes, Rigoberto Romildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachilo FC and the Aguadita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cachilo FC's Rigoberto Romildo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Aguadita booed when Cachilo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Everardo Gonsalvo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carmelo Santo, 1-0. Santiago Beturian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Carmelo Santo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Gonsalvo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Arnoldo Corderall got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rigoberto Romildo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teobaldo Merexildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Rigoberto Romildo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Carmelo Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Cachilo FC defense, Everardo Gonsalvo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Santo. The Cachilo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Santo should have stopped the shot. Carmelo Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Beturian in the 68th minute of play forced Cachilo FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Romildo in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, one of Aguadita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguadita. The referee gave Cachilo FC a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faustino Munio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aguadita's Teobaldo Merexildo. 2-2. Teobaldo Merexildo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Arnoldo Corderall sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Aguadita getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fernan Emesto hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Rigoberto Romildo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teobaldo Merexildo. The goal made the score 2-3. Carmelo Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Gonsalvo in the 86th minute of play. Faustino Munio charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Munio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cachilo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! 98 minutes into the match, Aguadita's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Romildo came free, but Teobaldo Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
