In the 25thth minute of the game Benedicto Brun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tocol's Ovidio Eutropio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Fabricio Milio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Telén's Fulgencio Sanduru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Telén's Benedicto Brun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Eutropio. Ovidio Eutropio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With a little luck, Tocol's Ovidio Eutropio got control of the ball when Edelmiro Farias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damian Poz's late challenge caught a Tocol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Poz helped the player get up and apologised. Damian Poz hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Sanduru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Milio in the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Edelmiro Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telén's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Eutropio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tobias Dalmau fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tocol's protests and gave Tobias Dalmau a yellow card for diving instead. Tobias Dalmau kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Farias got free with Ovidio Eutropio in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Milio was the one to do the kick off. Telén's Fulgencio Sanduru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Telén from getting a goal against them. The attack was good, but when Fabricio Milio in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tocol's Fabricio Milio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fulgencio Sanduru. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. If Armando Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Eutropio having to interfere. Augusto Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nereo Estefan charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nereo Estefan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Telén booed when Tocol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Haritz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Fabricio Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute, Fabricio Milio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edelmiro Farias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ovidio Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Farias in the 91st minute of play. Fabricio Milio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Fabricio Milio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Sanduru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tocol's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
