Nereo Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Malvin in the 6th minute of play. If Ladislao Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Ioritz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Domingo Indar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. la21's Cecilio Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Ioritz in the 19th minute of play. Godfredo Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Osmundo having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Internacional De Munro's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Bartolome came free, but Nereo Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Domingo Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Ioritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Feo having to interfere. Internacional De Munro's Domingo Indar got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Raimundo Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Bartolome might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Bartolome ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Godfredo Malvin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Osmundo having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Edgard Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Godfredo Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. In the 73rd minute, la21's Godfredo Malvin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nereo Osmundo. Nereo Osmundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. With a little luck, Internacional De Munro's Nereo Osmundo got control of the ball when Ladislao Bartolome tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Cordairo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Internacional De Munro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Cordairo to maneuver through the defense.
