Jose Heli scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Milio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rigoberto Abeijon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorato Milio. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Rigoberto Abeijon took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Honorato Milio to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Abeijon was the one to do the kick off. Marcial Barbosa hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Silvestre Jobo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Jobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Soldados Albirrojos booed when LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Heli in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Milio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Heli struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Honorato Milio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldados Albirrojos. After 86 played minutes LOS TOPITOS APESTOSOS got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Ur. Jose Heli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Honorato Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soldados Albirrojos had won after a very even match.
