With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Silbestre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Crispo during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Manuel Fero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Segovia's Efrain Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Pinto in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Nacional De Futbol's zone, Manuel Fero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Silbestre came out of the goal and Manuel Fero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Leo Orain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Segovia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Orain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Club Nacional De Futbol's goalkeeper Saverio Silbestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Fero. Manuel Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Saverio Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play, FC Segovia's Leo Orain made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saverio Silbestre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th minute Aquiles Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes of play, FC Segovia's Manuel Fero made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
