The crowd rose to their feet as Telén's Benedicto Brun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 余旭霖. That made the score 3-1 after 67 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Telén's zone, Aris Farmakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Sanduru came out of the goal and Aris Farmakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Deportivo Español booed when Telén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Maore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Sanduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Aris Farmakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Telén getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Augusto Otsoko hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
