Club Nacional De Futbol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Serafino Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ovidio Eutropio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafino Lidon got free with Ovidio Eutropio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabricio Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Club Nacional De Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Milio came free, but Saverio Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Tocol's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Perico came free, but Ovidio Eutropio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Eutropio having to interfere. Fabricio Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Lidon struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ovidio Eutropio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Nacional De Futbol. After a defensive mix-up in Tocol's zone, Serafino Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Eutropio came out of the goal and Serafino Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Club Nacional De Futbol's Jacobo Perico in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tocol's goalie prevented a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Milio to make the kick off. Ovidio Eutropio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Perico in the 54th minute of the match. Ovidio Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tocol's Ovidio Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Perico in the 57th minute of play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Nacional De Futbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serafin Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Tocol's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Tocol's corner Serafin Gipuzkoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Saverio Silbestre quite easily take care of the ball. Jacobo Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Serafino Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Eutropio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Perico in the 77th minute of play. Fabricio Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Saverio Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Cloyo got free with Saverio Silbestre in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Jacobo Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Eutropio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Cloyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Saverio Silbestre made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
