Spectators: 7056 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabricio Milio started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Cloyo got free with Saverio Silbestre in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafino Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Eutropio having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Fabricio Milio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tocol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Milio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tocol's Ovidio Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Perico in the 15th minute of play. Ovidio Eutropio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Pinto in the 19th minute of the match. Vinicio Salvidor's late challenge caught a Tocol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Salvidor helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Club Nacional De Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Salvidor. 28 minutes into the match, Fabricio Milio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Nacional De Futbol's Saverio Silbestre. Saverio Silbestre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Fabricio Milio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Silbestre was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Saverio Silbestre made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Armando Cloyo sent off a good shot on target. If Jacobo Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Club Nacional De Futbol were awarded a corner. Damaso Benitez went to the cornerflag to take it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Lázaro Jokin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Perico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Eutropio having to make a save. 1-1 became the score in the 61st minute when Jacobo Perico elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67thth minute of the game Jacobo Perico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tocol's Ovidio Eutropio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes, Anier Montel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tocol and the Club Nacional De Futbol players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tocol getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anier Montel hit a great ball. Fabricio Milio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Silbestre having to interfere. If Serafino Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Perico in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Eutropio saved Tocol from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Tocol's zone, Jacobo Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Eutropio came out of the goal and Jacobo Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafino Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Eutropio having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
