After some careless play in the Luna Roja FC defense, Gerardo Mitxaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Lugo. The Luna Roja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Lugo should have stopped the shot. After 47 played minutes Facu club got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Mitxaut. The Facu club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luna Roja FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Sancho made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Rogelio Cheche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cleto Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Luna Roja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nicolas Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luna Roja FC's Mateo Nerio got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Epifanio Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Selatse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The Facu club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Luna Roja FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
