Cecilio Rafe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alvarado booed when Mussi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Rafe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Mussi's goalkeeper Herminio Aurre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugenio Cortez. Claudio Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alberto Mikelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Augusto Peru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mussi and the Alvarado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Augusto Peru hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Santiago Franco fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvarado's protests and gave Santiago Franco a yellow card for diving instead. Godofredo Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alberto Mikelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Bonifacio Bikendi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Mikelar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Eugenio Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Mikelar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Vidal went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Eugenio Cortez made the kick off in the second half. When Claudio Musko came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Mussi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Musko couldn't finish the play. Orlando Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Godofredo Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Santiago Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Alvarado defense, Godofredo Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Mikelar. The Alvarado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Mikelar should have stopped the shot. Herminio Aurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Nahia in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Mussi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alvarado throughout the match.
