Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Aaron Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Aaron Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-4 became the score in the 30th minute when Aaron Marquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Laferrere's Guillermo Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Marquez in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Caetano got free with Eustacio Rojelio in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Aaron Marquez made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Laferrere's Guillermo Chepe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Javier Remir kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when Laferrere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Bazil in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Kismi to strike the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Chepe made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Arnaldo Bazil sent off a good shot on target. In the 52nd match minute, Laferrere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Ponc to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Chepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Marquez in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Cruzeiro Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arnaldo Bazil hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Aaron Marquez sped through Laferrere's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillermo Chepe. Hipolito Quintan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Marquez couldn't finish the play. Laferrere's Guillermo Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Marquez in the 88th minute of play. Javier Remir hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Aaron Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laferrere's Guillermo Chepe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aaron Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Chepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Aaron Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Chepe having to interfere. The Laferrere fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
