Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timoteo Beltza got the match started through his kick off. When Isidoro Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Tejeda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Ledesma couldn't finish the play. Tejeda AFC's Fermin Basualdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Tejeda AFC from getting a goal against them. Fermin Basualdo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvestre Cidro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. The supporters of Tejeda AFC booed when MERLINFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Tejeda AFC's Timoteo Beltza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Cidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tejeda AFC's zone, Silvestre Cidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Basualdo came out of the goal and Silvestre Cidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Basualdo having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Genaro Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tejeda AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MERLINFC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cidro in the 62nd minute of play forced Tejeda AFC's goalkeeper Fermin Basualdo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Isidoro Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tejeda AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Ledesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Tabb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Tejeda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Cidro came free, but Fermin Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MERLINFC booed when Tejeda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tejeda AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented MERLINFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
