Spectators: 7411 (Terracing: 5559, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Gomez started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, IM James Liquin HC's Ladislao Patrido got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Gomez in the 6th minute of play forced IM James Liquin HC's goalkeeper Severino Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Atauri made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Claudio Munio sent off a good shot on target. IM James Liquin HC's Severino Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Munio in the 11th minute of play. Ladislao Patrido took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Cresitobalo. Jonathan Cresitobalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Ondino in the 15th minute of play forced Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Jonathan Cresitobalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Defensa y Justicia's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Ondino came free, but Jonathan Cresitobalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Rodolfo Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IM James Liquin HC's Severino Atauri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save IM James Liquin HC from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Marcos Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Guillerme in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Adolfo Ondino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Cresitobalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 28th minute Adolfo Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Romulo Fraco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Claudio Munio's late challenge caught a IM James Liquin HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Munio helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Defensa y Justicia got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Munio. Gualterio Sotil hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Ondino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severino Atauri came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensa y Justicia's Claudio Munio. But to his dismay, Claudio Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Severino Atauri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Munio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Munio struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Severino Atauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensa y Justicia. In the 59th minute, Tomás Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Marcos Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensa y Justicia's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Atauri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Munio in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Claudio Munio made a precise shot to the right of Severino Atauri. IM James Liquin HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The audience was convinced that Claudio Munio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severino Atauri was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Jonathan Cresitobalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Fraco in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Adolfo Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Defensa y Justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Sotil to maneuver through the defense. Severino Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Munio in the 78th minute of the match. Severino Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Gomez in the 80th minute of play. Gualterio Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Julio Garin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jonathan Cresitobalo made a huge save. In the 88th minute Marcos Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Inocencio Ongile was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. The supporters of IM James Liquin HC booed when Defensa y Justicia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Defensa y Justicia's Jonathan Cresitobalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y Justicia from getting a goal against them. Chants of IM James Liquin HC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Defensa y Justicia had held the ball for most of the match.
