Cayetano Libertad hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Flavio Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes, Peñaflor AFC's Gaston Raphael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Humberto Havier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peñaflor AFC reached it. In the 43rd minute, Atilano Beat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peñaflor AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ildefonso Aguirre hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Aguirre made the kick off in the second half. When Atilano Beat in the 59th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Humberto Havier kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Humberto Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timoteo Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ateneo Parroquial F.C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gaudencio Egoitz hit a great ball. Atilano Beat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Humberto Havier skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Atilano Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Beat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Havier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peñaflor AFC's Guillermo Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Gutxi in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Peñaflor AFC's Timoteo Unai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Ildefonso Aguirre took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Olivar. Guillermo Olivar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. When the final whistle sounded Peñaflor AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ateneo Parroquial F.C..
