An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Ramirez in the 4th minute of play forced Aguilas FC's goalkeeper Enzo Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cachiyuyu's zone, Luciano Gaitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Lartaun came out of the goal and Luciano Gaitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Palos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Godoy in the 12th minute. Godofredo Sansone charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godofredo Sansone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cachiyuyu booed when Aguilas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Godoys short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Enzo Palos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luciano Gaitan sped through Cachiyuyu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ceferino Lartaun. Ceferino Lartaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Gaitan in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes Cachiyuyu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evaristo Rocio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Aguilas FC's Evaristo Rocio to fire away a dangerous shot which Ceferino Lartaun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Luciano Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Lartaun. Cachiyuyu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Evaristo Rocio struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Evaristo Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ceferino Lartaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Gaitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Gaitan got free with Ceferino Lartaun in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aguilas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evaristo Rocio in the 64th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cachiyuyu's goalie and right to Elvio Bento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cachiyuyu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 67 minutes of play, Cachiyuyu's Guaberto Ramirez made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enzo Palos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eleuterio Clis made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Silvio Nardo. When Guaberto Ramirez fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachiyuyu's protests and gave Guaberto Ramirez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Cachiyuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cachiyuyu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 77th match minute, Aguilas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguilas FC's goalkeeper Enzo Palos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cachiyuyu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Luciano Gaitan scored to the left of an out of position Ceferino Lartaun, making the score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Gaitan in the 86th minute of play forced Cachiyuyu's goalkeeper Ceferino Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Iker Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Palos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Naike during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Aguilas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Naike to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Ramirez in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Palos saved Aguilas FC from getting behind. A collision led to Aguilas FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fabian Crescencio hit a great ball. Enzo Palos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Aguilas FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
