With 16 minutes on the clock, Eulalio Chorache commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Alcira getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eulalio Chorache hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Argentina's Cristo Gombal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Seme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Alcira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Saturnin to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Seme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Liberto in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Alcira's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Maiorga came free, but Jeronimo Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcira's Jeronimo Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Maiorga in the 38th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Jeronimo Seme successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeronimo Seme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Valente in the 46th minute. Alcira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benedicto Maiorga 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Romildo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Liberto in the 56th minute of play forced Alcira's goalkeeper Jeronimo Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Alcira's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Gombal came free, but Jeronimo Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Romildo got free with Joel Botello in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeronimo Seme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Romero went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Santo Valente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Seme. Alcira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Valente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Eleuterio Liberto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When Santo Valente fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentina's protests and gave Santo Valente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute Eleuterio Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Seme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Valente in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Argentina booed when Alcira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Valente in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Argentina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
