Nueva Orleans FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Pere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Defensores de glew's Zacarias Pere in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Domingos Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Nueva Orleans FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores de glew were winning 0-1.

After 51st play minutes Zacarias Pere shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Virgilio Senen and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Merexildo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Beti saved Defensores de glew from getting behind. When Elpidio Galeno came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Nueva Orleans FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Galeno couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Senen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Defensores de glew were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Nueva Orleans FC side.
