Eulalio Chorache helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Alcira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Chorache to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Donncha McPhilip sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeronimo Seme skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Luisito Chumo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de glew the free kick. Zacarias Pere scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeronimo Seme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeronimo Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Pilgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Viklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaudencio Romildo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gaudencio Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcira's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Romildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Viklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Defensores de glew getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Juan Marquez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Defensores de glew defense, Conrado Gagriel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Viklund. The Defensores de glew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Viklund should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Daniel Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Gagriel in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Defensores de glew's Herminio Beti got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute, Luisito Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores de glew fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Alcira a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eulalio Chorache, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Defensores de glew's Daniel Viklund. 3-1. A collision led to Alcira getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gaudencio Romildo hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Juan Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Hodei kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Donncha McPhilip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Gaudencio Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Marquez in the 78th minute of play forced Alcira's goalkeeper Jeronimo Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaudencio Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Pagomari hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Niceto Artal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Viklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ciriaco Hodei hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Defensores de glew players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alcira.
