The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Ferrer in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind SASSUOLO CALCIO's goalkeeper Constantino Kauldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Rey during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edgard Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SASSUOLO CALCIO! SASSUOLO CALCIO:s Constantino Kauldi showed great skill when he stopped Everardo Castel:s penalty. When SASSUOLO CALCIO's Rogelio Ferrer in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ugarteche's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Ugarteche's Roberto Ruy got control of the ball when Ramon Lizer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rogelio Ferrer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SASSUOLO CALCIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Ferrer couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Rogelio Ferrer lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Roberto Ruy. SASSUOLO CALCIO's Constantino Kauldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Pereyra in the 31st minute of play. Roberto Ruy was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Rogelio Ferrer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rogelio Ferrer really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Rogelio Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Roberto Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute, Esteban Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Castel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Saturnino Gorosti came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the SASSUOLO CALCIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Gorosti couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Ferrer to make the kick off. Roberto Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rogelio Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Ferrer in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Ruy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the game, Nicasio Ganix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ugarteche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SASSUOLO CALCIO the free kick. After 55 played minutes Ugarteche got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Ganix. SASSUOLO CALCIO's Rogelio Ferrer got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Saturnino Gorosti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SASSUOLO CALCIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ugarteche the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, SASSUOLO CALCIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Jonatan Bero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ugarteche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SASSUOLO CALCIO the free kick. In the 63rd minute, one of Ugarteche:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ugarteche. The SASSUOLO CALCIO fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when SASSUOLO CALCIO's Rogelio Ferrer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 72 minutes into the match, Ugarteche's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Ferrer came free, but Roberto Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Lizer struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Roberto Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SASSUOLO CALCIO. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Ferrer in the 86th minute of play forced Ugarteche's goalkeeper Roberto Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SASSUOLO CALCIO's Arsenio Ikatz got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Ugarteche's Everardo Castel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rogelio Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SASSUOLO CALCIO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
