Deportivo Passo's Venancio Miliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Ferrer in the 37th minute of play. Constantino Kauldi made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Teodosio Grabiel sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Deportivo Passo's Aristides Gotzon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edgard Rey, made in the 51st minute of the game. Saturnino Gorosti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Miliano having to make a save. Ramon Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SASSUOLO CALCIO's Ramon Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
