Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Celedonio Chico started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Diego Rius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celedonio Chico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Blasco having to make a save. In the 6th minute Diego Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Blasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristo Malvin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Celipe was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Jeronimo Dacio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Blasco. Luvirgienzo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 15th minute, Jonas Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Rius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Blasco having to make a save. In the 25th minute, one of Luvirgienzo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luvirgienzo. The referee gave Independiente a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Froilan Gasteiz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luvirgienzo's Alfredo Blasco. 0-1. Diego Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alfredo Blasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Luvirgienzo's Jonas Crispo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Celedonio Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Luvirgienzo got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Maidana. Independiente's Diego Rius got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Blas Pierres. Cristo Malvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Malvin struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Erubiel Celipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luvirgienzo.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Urtsin to make the kick off. Independiente's Erubiel Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Urtsin in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ruperto Elija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Luvirgienzo's zone, Diego Rius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Blasco came out of the goal and Diego Rius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Urtsin in the 59th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Erubiel Celipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Alfredo Blasco managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Independiente's Diego Rius fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victoriano Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Celipe having to interfere. Blas Pierres kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Victoriano Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Elija kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Erubiel Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Malvin in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of Independiente booed when Luvirgienzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Cordaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Luvirgienzo's goalkeeper Alfredo Blasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Rius. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Froilan Gasteiz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Victorio Ermengol didn't quite understand what happened when in the 88 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a rather tough play, Luvirgienzo's Nicanor Maidana got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Victoriano Urtsin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
