Mario Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Nafarroa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Ixona in the 25th minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Urbano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urbano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Guido Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Milio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Benedicto Sadurni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patronato. Mario Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benedicto Sadurni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Laferrere got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Presebal. Feliciano Dabi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urbano Esiquio having to make a save.

After a rather tough play, Patronato's Marco Quinton got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Guido Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Urbano Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Milio in the 59th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Patronato's goalkeeper Urbano Esiquio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Nofre. Patronato's Gerardo Milio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Ixona in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbano Esiquio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Urbano Esiquio was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Clodoveo Gil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clodoveo Gil really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Laferrere's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
