Urbano Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Angelino Salamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 8 played minutes Patronato got a freekick which was hit by Thommy Vollmar. Rigoberto Joanes struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Urbano Esiquio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fache FC. In the 12th minute Angelino Salamon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Patronato's zone, Enzo Ibon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Esiquio came out of the goal and Enzo Ibon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Patronato's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Angelino Salamon was slow to take the kick. During this time Fache FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fache FC's Angelino Salamon to fire away a dangerous shot which Urbano Esiquio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fache FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Octavio Argider scored to the left of an out of position Delmar Quintin, making the score, 1-0. Narciso Tabb hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Patronato's Leonard Percha got a free kick in the 29th minute. Benedicto Frans's late challenge caught a Fache FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Frans helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. If Octavio Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Salamon to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Patronato got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Milio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Joanes in the 56th minute of play forced Patronato's goalkeeper Urbano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Fache FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Argider came free, but Delmar Quintin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patronato were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Fache FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Furtado took the corner. Gerardo Milio made a great header on Patronato's corner, it was just that Fache FC's Delmar Quintin managed to reach the ball for a save. Fache FC's Rigoberto Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelino Salamon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Urbano Esiquio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Urbano Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Salamon in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Angelino Salamon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Esiquio was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Octavio Argider notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fache FC's Delmar Quintin. Delmar Quintin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Angelino Salamons short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Urbano Esiquio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Patronato booed when Fache FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patronato's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
