But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Theobald couldn't finish the play. Eustaquio Castel charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Castel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Eustaquio Castel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantino Ciceron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Raul Demario made a huge save. Augusto Rocio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Eudoxio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Unión FC's Marciano Theobald got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Roderigo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Unión FC booed when NS Fútbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Constantino Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unión FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marciano Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play NS Fútbol club's Rogelio Roderigo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th minute, Rogelio Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, NS Fútbol club's Augusto Rocio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Tobias Dunixi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul Demario. Raul Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantino Ciceron's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Marciano Theobald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NS Fútbol club's Raul Demario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, NS Fútbol club's Augusto Rocio got a free kick in the 78th minute. Marciano Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Saturnino Abel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Eudoxio, 2-1. Raul Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, NS Fútbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Ciceron came free, but Raul Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, NS Fútbol club's Americo Perpinya got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unión FC had won after a very even match.
