Paulino Gomez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Guillelme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Reyes's Luciano Guillelme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Reyes from getting a goal against them. Marco Sancho got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 41 played minutes Cotagaita got a freekick which was hit by Marco Sancho. In the 44th minute, Ezequiel Eusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Gomez couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Cotagaita's Ezequiel Eusko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luciano Guillelme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Reyes booed when Cotagaita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Eusko didn't get a good kick on the ball.
