Bonpland AFC's Gerardo Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Jax in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Laureano Feliu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Modesto Efraim, 1-4. When Freddy Jax came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Lafontaine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Jax couldn't finish the play. Laureano Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Efraim having to interfere. Bonpland AFC played a much better game than Lafontaine and deserved their victory. The Lafontaine players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
