Jacobo Maxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Darien's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Kong Sen Chen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nunez Etxekopar made a huge save. In the 16th minute Cayetano Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Nunez Etxekopar managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Pakua FC's Kong Sen Chen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Aibar FC España fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Aibar FC España's Paolo Darien looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 23 played minutes Pakua FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Maties. Nunez Etxekopar made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Remigio Ereinotz sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Aibar FC España defense, Kong Sen Chen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Etxekopar. The Aibar FC España fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Etxekopar should have stopped the shot. Nunez Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Cesaro in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aibar FC España's Nicolas Nataniel got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Cayetano Darien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Rodolfo Mergildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Etxekopar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cayetano Darien showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. If Baldomiro Maties had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Jon in the 45th minute of play forced Pakua FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Maxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Pakua FC's Nunez Etxekopar threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kong Sen Chen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Maties to make the kick off. Hilario Inge charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hilario Inge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
