With a little luck, Deportivo Roca's Silverio Maura got control of the ball when Paolo Darien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nunez Etxekopar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 46th match minute, Deportivo Roca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Espiridion to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Darien was the one to do the kick off. Nunez Etxekopar made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Valentin Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Hermengildo Gutxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Valentin Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
