Deportivo Roca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pakua FC the free kick. Baldomiro Maties could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Silverio Maura made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Cayetano Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cayetano Darien came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Pakua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Darien couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Pakua FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo Roca.
