In the 19th minute, Freddy Jax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute of the game Emilio Fero made a throw-in which Freddy Jax played forward. After a rather tough play, TORO PICANTE's Fulgencio Honesto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fulgencio Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Modesto Efraim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Efraim came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by TORO PICANTE's Fulgencio Honesto. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Honesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th match minute, TORO PICANTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Mateo to maneuver through the defense. Lafontaine's Freddy Jax got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Rodriguez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Min. TORO PICANTE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, TORO PICANTE's goalkeeper Cristian Min had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Nuñez. In the 44thth minute of the game Tomas Nuñez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TORO PICANTE's Cristian Min was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Modesto Efraim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Honesto in the 61st minute of play. Cristian Min showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Nuñez in the 63rd minute of the match.
