Roque Casomiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Cordarryl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Casomiro ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Pasala al 5's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Medero came free, but Leonides Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Cordarryl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Fero in the 6th minute. Leonides Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Medero in the 9th minute of the match. Pasala al 5's Leonides Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Casomiro in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Herminio Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empalme's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Francho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Cordarryl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Ruperto Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Bartoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herminio Francho got free with Leonides Cordarryl in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Ramos in the 17th minute of play forced Empalme's goalkeeper Hilario Bartoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Pasala al 5's goalkeeper Leonides Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Francho. The referee felt a red card was in order, 20 minutes into the game, when Ovidio Larpe put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Empalme fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Hilario Bartoli had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Augusto Argenis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Empalme's zone, Ruperto Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Bartoli came out of the goal and Ruperto Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Raymond hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Christian Cruz's late challenge caught a Empalme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Christian Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Empalme's Felipe Medero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonides Cordarryl. Leonides Cordarryl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 35 played minutes Pasala al 5 got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Otsando. The audience was convinced that Felipe Medero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Cordarryl was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Angel Raymond hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Pasala al 5's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roque Casomiro 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Felipe Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Medero scored 3-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Cordarryl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Argenis to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the game, Empalme's Roque Casomiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Cordarryl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Leonides Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Casomiro in the 61st minute of play. When Roque Casomiro got free in front of the goal in the 61st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leonides Cordarryl was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mariano Delfino charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Delfino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariano Delfino kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Empalme's Salvador Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felipe Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Cordarryl having to interfere. Pasala al 5's Angel Raymond got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonides Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Medero in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pasala al 5's Evelio Perico got a free kick in the 79th minute. Pasala al 5's Leonides Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Medero in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Joel Fero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Empalme fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Felipe Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
