With a little luck, Sporting Veyn's Domingo Eutor got control of the ball when German Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Hegoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Chuse went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Machigasta's Mateo Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Goizeder in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Celso Lia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Mateo Hegoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 55 minutes, Alonzo Harkaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Veyn and the Machigasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingo Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Calvet in the 64th minute of play.
