Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amador Fliz took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes of play, del River FC's Leonel Restu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Hegoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Hegoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Astudillo in the 6th minute of the match. Guillermo Ofelio was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Pascual Calvet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pascual Calvet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in del River FC's zone, German Florian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Ofelio came out of the goal and German Florian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Ofelio made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when German Florian sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Restu in the 13th minute of play forced Machigasta's goalkeeper Mateo Hegoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Hegoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Fliz in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Machigasta's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Nuno came free, but Mateo Hegoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Humberto Nuno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mateo Hegoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If German Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 29 played minutes Machigasta got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Venceslao. The supporters of Machigasta booed when del River FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Gorbea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Hegoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascual Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Guillermo Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Calvet in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillermo Ofelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Astudillo scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Hegoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Humberto Nuno's late challenge caught a Machigasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Nuno hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a little luck, del River FC's Guillermo Ofelio got control of the ball when German Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Hegoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Fliz in the 45th minute of play. Guillermo Ofelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Venceslao in the 46th minute of play. Mateo Hegoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amador Fliz went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Pascual Calvet made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to del River FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ermegildo Astudillo hit a great ball. Pascual Calvet struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Guillermo Ofelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machigasta. Guillermo Ofelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Florian in the 64th minute of play. Humberto Nuno might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Hegoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Nuno ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Machigasta's goalkeeper Mateo Hegoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Restu. The crowd rose to their feet as del River FC's Amador Fliz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateo Hegoi. That made the score 1-5 after 70 minutes of play. Machigasta's Mateo Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Astudillo in the 73rd minute of play. Leonel Restu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Hegoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute, German Florian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Ofelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st match minute, Machigasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Resto to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Restu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Mateo Hegoi made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Machigasta's Omar Resto got a free kick in the 89th minute. Leonel Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Patxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Cosme Patxi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Guillermo Ofelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Machigasta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching del River FC's performance. The match ended with a win for del River FC.
