In the 21st minute, Arnoldo Gelmiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patricio Duardo. The goal made the score 2-0. JuventudAYV's Armando Nel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maximino Berart in the 24 minute of the game. In the 26th match minute, JuventudAYV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Tabby to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Duardo made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Delmiro Jaizki sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, JuventudAYV's goalkeeper Patricio Duardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Gelmiro. Narciso Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Domiku in the 35th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Arnoldo Gelmiro made the kick off in the second half. Cristobal Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Patricio Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Jaizki in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of BOCA JUNIORS booed when JuventudAYV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Gelmiro in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, JuventudAYV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Acuña to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in JuventudAYV's zone, Arnoldo Gelmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Duardo came out of the goal and Arnoldo Gelmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Delmiro Jaizki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOCA JUNIORS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Silvestre Urritz put in a rough tackle. Silvestre Urritz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalmacio Lamberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narciso Iturri. That made the score 3-1 in the 86 minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Gonza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JuventudAYV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BOCA JUNIORS the free kick. In the 89th minute, Rodolfo Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes of play, BOCA JUNIORS's Adrian Ordono made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BOCA JUNIORS fully deserved thier win.
