The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alberto Vedillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Vedillo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Mariano Orlo made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Iturri. BOCA JUNIORS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. BOCA JUNIORS's Jeronimo Santiago got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Mariano Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Guido Xabel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Narciso Iturri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Mogel in the 88th minute of the match. Guido Xabel charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Xabel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guido Xabel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mariano Orlo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Iturri. Narciso Iturri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. BOCA JUNIORS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
