Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arnoldo Gelmiro made the kick off which started today's match. Tiburcio Mitxel came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by BOCA JUNIORS's Delmiro Jaizki. But to his dismay, Delmiro Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Guañacos FC's Ruperto Librado suffered a concussion after 6 minutes and had to leave the field. 7 minutes into the game, Cristobal Erlantz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOCA JUNIORS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guañacos FC the free kick. In the 7th match minute, BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Erlantz to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 14 minutes, Ernesto Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guañacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Narciso Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Delmiro Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Mitxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciso Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Ricart in the 29th minute of play. Arnoldo Gelmiro struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tiburcio Mitxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOCA JUNIORS. If Delmiro Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Hitzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Arnoldo Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Iturri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Ricart's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When Guañacos FC's Ernesto Playo in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOCA JUNIORS's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Arnoldo Gelmiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Ernesto Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guañacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Ricart got free with Narciso Iturri in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BOCA JUNIORS's Arnoldo Gelmiro got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guañacos FC's Damaso Ricart got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Gelmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tiburcio Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damaso Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Hitzeder in the 74th minute of play forced BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Narciso Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Iturri made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Damaso Ricart sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damaso Ricart got free with Narciso Iturri in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnoldo Gelmiro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Tiburcio Mitxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOCA JUNIORS. Arnoldo Gelmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Mitxel having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
