In the 16th minute, Eulalio Sayveon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Leo Mogel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FORMOSA CUCU AFC's Victorio Venceslao. Victorio Venceslao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the match, FORMOSA CUCU AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Gelmiro came free, but Victorio Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Prudencio Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Iturri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Tallia got free with Narciso Iturri in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, FORMOSA CUCU AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Erlantz to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Tallia to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Tallia in the 51st minute of play forced BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Narciso Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Arnoldo Gelmiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOCA JUNIORS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, FORMOSA CUCU AFC's Victorio Venceslao got control of the ball when Arnoldo Gelmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmiro Jaizki might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Venceslao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Jaizki ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Abel Tallia put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Narciso Iturri. 71 minutes into the game, Abel Tallia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Narciso Iturri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Iturri came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by FORMOSA CUCU AFC's Prudencio Erlantz. But to his dismay, Prudencio Erlantz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. With his leg Victorio Venceslao managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when BOCA JUNIORS's Arnoldo Gelmiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Narciso Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Tallia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, BOCA JUNIORS's Arnoldo Gelmiro made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorio Venceslao was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 played minutes FORMOSA CUCU AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Erlantz. Victorio Venceslao made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Adrian Ordono sent off a good shot on target. BOCA JUNIORS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
