In the 4th minute Alberto Vedillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Xabel during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximino Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Domeka in the 21st minute of the match. Freddy Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Maximino Peli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Isaac Tabby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to JuventudAYV getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Armando Nel hit a great ball. Alberto Vedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Duardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Domiku in the 41st minute of play. JuventudAYV's Patricio Duardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save JuventudAYV from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alberto Vedillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Duardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Mariano Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, JuventudAYV's Segundo Acuña seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Segundo Acuña the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of JuventudAYV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Segundo Acuña had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of JuventudAYV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lavadero FC:s goal. JuventudAYV:s Patricio Duardo showed great skill when he stopped Fernando Urbes:s penalty. After some careless play in the JuventudAYV defense, Fernando Urbes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patricio Duardo. The JuventudAYV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Duardo should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Lavadero FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Orlo. After some careless play in the Lavadero FC defense, Freddy Rocio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Peli. The Lavadero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Peli should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute, Amancio Domeka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Amancio Domeka came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the JuventudAYV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Domeka couldn't finish the play. If Alberto Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to JuventudAYV getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Armando Nel hit a great ball. Alberto Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Duardo having to interfere. Patricio Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Orlo in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, JuventudAYV's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Vedillo came free, but Patricio Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lavadero FC fully deserved thier win.
