The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Nemesio Oriol fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Tiburcio Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo George in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Guipuzkoa during the 42nd minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Cachorros de Ted's goalkeeper Uriel Taurino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 70 in the game by Damaso Ricart from a close distance when the talented Uriel Taurino managed to make a qualified save. Los Cachorros de Ted's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Playo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uriel Taurino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiburcio Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Quinton in the 73rd minute of play. Tiburcio Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Quinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 3-4 became the score in the 91st minute when Ivan Quinton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Domingos Cisco hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The corner led Guañacos FC's Ernesto Playo to fire away a dangerous shot which Uriel Taurino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guañacos FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
