Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albariño's Fulgencio Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Soter in the 6th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Albariño:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gualeguaychú FC:s goal. Amerigo Staniscia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Lluques in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Albariño defense, Arnulfo Janpier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Fernandes. The Albariño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Fernandes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Soter in the 18th minute of play forced Albariño's goalkeeper Fulgencio Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Lino Soter notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Albariño's Fulgencio Fernandes. Fulgencio Fernandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fulgencio Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Soter scored 0-6 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Gualeguaychú FC's Lino Soter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fulgencio Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Janpier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Fernandes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Albariño's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evelio Tibalt in the 40th minute. Leonides Lazcano's late challenge caught a Albariño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Lazcano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gualeguaychú FC's Leonides Lazcano got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Denis Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Denis Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Janpier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Osorio got free with Fulgencio Fernandes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th play minute Arnulfo Janpier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fulgencio Fernandes. 0-8. Denis Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Amerigo Staniscia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albariño. After a rather tough play, Albariño's Santiago Mino got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fulgencio Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Soter in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Janpier got free with Fulgencio Fernandes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Esteban Ledesma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Staniscia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Gualeguaychú FC's Arnulfo Janpier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. A collision led to Albariño getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ramon Lluques hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Albariño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Eladio to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Janpier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fulgencio Fernandes, 0-10. Lino Soter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Fulgencio Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Lundberg in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Gualeguaychú FC booed when Albariño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualeguaychú FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
