The audience thought a goal was coming when Esteve Naldo got free with Baltasar Odol in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rosa getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Martin Eleazar hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Gartzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Diagur was slow to take the kick. During this time Rosa's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Marcelo Diagur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cotagaita FC's Baltasar Odol did a great save. A collision led to Rosa getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gonzalo Charro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Madeo having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Cotagaita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Naldo came free, but Baltasar Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Esteve Naldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Baltasar Odol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Cotagaita FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rosa throughout the match.
