The audience was convinced that Vicente Tristan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Ler was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 34 minutes, Luis Estebe made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. The referee ignored Leo FC's protests and gave Santo Lorien a yellow card for diving instead.
